- Jim McClendon, P.E.
  
  Jim has spent over 40 years in HVAC/R, with a career spanning contractor, design, and end-user roles, including 22 years at Walmart, where he led the company’s design, engineering, energy efficiency, and refrigerant transition initiatives. Jim recently joined DC Engineering to help clients develop practical strategies around HVAC/R asset replacement, with a focus on refrigerant transition and improved equipment performance. He is a Lifetime ASHRAE member, former NASRC board member, and a founding partner of the DOE Better Buildings Initiative.

  Tom Wolgamot is a Principal Engineer and Principal in Charge of DC's efforts in the retail markets arena. Tom joined DC Engineering in 2005 after 11 years with a nationwide end user, where he led the facilities engineering group. He is a well-known leader in the refrigeration arena, helping to pioneer the development and adoption of sustainable refrigeration system design and transition strategies. Tom serves in leadership roles on ASHRAE and IIAR Committees and regularly presents at various industry conferences.

  Dustin Lilya is a Principal Mechanical Engineer and Client Lead for some of DC's most significant retail clients. He has also played a critical role in building the company's Energy Services efforts, and has expanded the company's project and production standards for the company's retail markets work. Dustin is actively involved with NASRC, ASHRAE, BBA Refrigeration Tech Team and the DOE; he also publishes technical papers, and presents at trade conferences.

  Brian Churchyard has 33 years in the commercial refrigeration sector, including 17 years at the world’s largest food retailer. He began his career as a service and maintenance apprentice engineer and has progressed through a range of roles, including Service Supervisor, Project Manager, Account Manager, Consultant, and End User. Now the Managing Director of a successful UK-based consultancy, Brian is results-driven and recognized across the industry, with multiple industry awards to his name.

  Nabil is a Chartered Engineer, Fellow of the Institute of Refrigeration (IOR), member of the IOR Technical Committee, winner of the RAC Gold Award at the Cooling Industry Awards 2025, and a published research author, with a master’s in engineering from Imperial College London. Over his 16 years in the industry, Nabil has led cross-disciplinary teams to drive innovation and reliability by helping develop and leverage the latest technology. He is focused on engineering excellence, and has trained many engineers and future leaders in the industry.

  Aaron Daly is Founder and Principal of Avida Energy, an owner-side consultancy advising industry-leading organizations on energy management, thermal systems, and refrigerant transition planning. He previously served as Global Director of Energy Management at Whole Foods Market, where he was responsible for the company's overall energy program, including procurement, efficiency, and refrigeration, across North America and Europe. A Certified Energy Manager with an M.S. in Energy Management from Sonoma State University, Aaron is also a cofounder of the refrigerant-focused industry organizations NASRC and REEF.

  Jeremy has over 25 years of experience in building automation, facility operations, and design and construction projects. He has led first-of-their-kind deployments, from the U.S. Navy’s first fully automated engineering plant to the West Coast’s first ENERGY STAR 100 & LEED EB O+M Platinum building, along with more than 150 million square feet of smart building integrations. Jeremy holds multiple certifications, including CEM, CMVP, LEED AP, SmartScore & WiredScore AP, Alerton BACtalk Engineer, other electrical credentials, and is a licensed HVAC Refrigeration Journeyman.

  Trevor is a mechanical engineer with a decade of experience helping clients achieve actionable, measurable results from Smart Building Technology deployments. He bridges data technology and real estate domains, with a focus on HVAC and refrigeration. Trevor has developed software to streamline data organization, built energy and financial models for large global companies, and consulted worldwide on fault detection and diagnostics. He is also a co-creator of the Digital Buildings Ontology with deep expertise in semantic modeling.

  Keilly Witman is the head of Refrigerant Management Solutions, where she advises refrigerant end users on strategy, emissions reduction, and regulatory compliance. She launched the EPA’s GreenChill Advanced Refrigeration Partnership, later built H-E-B’s refrigerant management and sustainability program, and has become one of the industry’s most recognized interpreters of refrigerant policy and practice. Keilly also founded NASRC and continues to shape the sector through education, governance, and training. With both legal and environmental-policy training, she is especially effective at turning complicated rules into practical operating guidance.
